Niswonger Online and AP Access for ALL are programs of the Niswonger Foundation, built around the shared belief that where a student lives should not limit the courses or opportunities available to them.
Both programs give students access to a wide variety of high-quality online courses, helping to ensure more students can find opportunities that fit their interests, goals, and plans after high school.

About Niswonger Foundation
The Niswonger Foundation was established in 2001 to make a positive and sustainable difference in education in Northeast Tennessee. With the philosophy of “Learn-Earn-Return”™, the goal of bringing rigorous, relevant, and cost-effective programs to public education became a mission. Fundamental to the success of the Niswonger Foundation has been a clear focus on removing constraints to educational innovation and problem solving, thus allowing local school systems to better provide for student needs. By building school programs that are research-based and sustainable, the Niswonger Foundation has become a recognized voice for educational reform in the State of Tennessee, while nurturing the next generation of leaders.
About AP Access for ALL
AP Access for ALL (APAA) is a partnership with the Tennessee Department of Education that was launched in 2021. It is built around the same simple belief that Niswonger Online embodies: where a student lives should not limit the courses or opportunities available to them. APAA is designed to expand access to AP classes across the state with access to 22 College-board approved online AP courses for Tennessee public high school students. Guidance, support, and resources are provided to students so they can thrive in rigorous academic experiences.
